Shwe Shwe, 100% cotton material. 

Shweshwe is the most iconic and recognisable of all South African prints.  It is popular with local men and women for clothing as well as internationally for tableware and soft furnishings. Made using a tightly woven cotton it has a smaller than average fabric width of 90 cm and a stiffness to the new fabric from traditional starching, which washes out — printed with original designs in a wide variety of colour ways. The name is thought to have come from the swishing sound of the fabric as the women wearing it walked.

    I can highly recommend this store! The owner sent me a message regarding a possible adjustment to my order, with photos to confirm what I will receive. We settled on a variation of my order and I received a part refund not long after. Shipping was quick and affordable, with notification updates. I received the beautiful Shwe Shwe and oh! That wonderful Shwe Shwe smell of the wax when I opened the package! Fabric washed beautifully! The colour is just perfect!
