These earrings are significant to Fulani culture. Each one has been transformed by the hand of skillful Malian artisans, from a block of silver alloy beaten hundreds of times to become a paper thin elegant peice of jewelery. Due to their handmade nature no two pairs are exactly the same. Cracks and bends are a normal part of this type of hand beaten jewelery. We sugget using lemon juice and dry with a soft cloth should you need to clean your earrings.
