This is a heavy weight 100% plain cotton weave. Perfect for tailored dresses, skirts, pants, cushions and making heirloom quilts. It is amazing for creating head wraps, as it is a really solid fabric that holds it form and could even become quite sculptural. it is not a flowing fabric at all. 

Each piece is completely unique and any differences in pattern should be considered a mark of authenticity. These have been dyed using a range of traditional and modern batik dying techniques This one has been scrunch dyed over an Ankara print by African artisans.
